The Royal Regiment of Canada will host a gala dinner to recognize the centenary of the Armistice on the 11th of November 1918 which brought the hostilities of the First World War to a close. The dinner, which is expected to include participation from other units of the Toronto Garrison will be a premier event which includes:

An unveiling of a memorial to the 3rd Battalion, Toronto Regiment, CEF;

Historian Norm Christie as guest speaker (Norm Christie);

First World War themed music provided by the Band of The Royal Regiment of Canada; and

Hors d'oeuvres and a three course meal catered by Daniel et Daniel with wine and port.

The Royal Regiment of Canada was entrusted to perpetuate six battalions from the First World War being; the 3rd, 58th, 123rd and 124th, 170th and 204th. We consider the Centenary of the Armistice a significant event for Toronto and for all Canadians. Please join us on this historic occasion of camaraderie and Remembrance.

The evening shall commence at 1800hrs for 1845hrs. The unveiling of the 3rd Bn plaque will commence at 1845hrs.

Parking will be limited.

Only 300 individual tickets are available for purchase:
250 Early Bird tickets are available immediately – $125 per person, plus service charge.
Last 50 tickets – $175 per person, plus service charge.

Table Sponsorship:
$3,500 per table (includes service charges) and include:
- 10 Dinner tickets
- A charitable tax receipt
- Recognition on the programme/menu, and on banners in the reception area

Please note:
This event is a commemorative event and not a fundraiser. Any surplus will be used for charitable purposes related to military organizations.
